General Information:

Pro-Audio-Swap@googlegroups.com is a forum to buy, sell, trade, and barter professional audio/video equipment and support services. This list is for private individuals and equipment brokers only and Commercial/Corperate/Retail sale listings are prohibited, with the Item of Interest exception listed below.

On topic discussions include the obvious wanted to buy and wanted to sell listings, but may also include items of exceptional value or interest which are for sale by 3rd parties as pointed out by list members in good standing. Like has been previously stated, no corperate sales or advertising allowed.

Topics can also include seeking transaction advice as long as it does not dominate the list. Other topics should be moved to backroom@recordist.com which shall serve as the unofficial off-topic forum for this list.

Also, parties both private and corperate with audio/video/broadcast related job openings are encouraged to post info on those positions to the list.

Please include the following shorthand in the message subject line prior to the topic title.

• FT: For Trade/Barter
• FA: For auction
• GEN: General Information
• Q&A: Question and answer
• OT: Off Topic
• ITEM OF INT: Item of interest (such as a good deal being offered by a commercial vendor as pointed out by a list member in good standing who has no business relationship with the seller - DO NOT ABUSE THIS!)

List subscribers are expected to be familiar with standard conventional netiquette before posting to the list. All members in good standing may post directly to the list without moderator approval of individual posts. Replies are set-up to go back to the list. If you want to reply directly to the poster without going to the whole list, you will need to insert the recipiant's email address in the appropriate mail-client window manually.

The list moderator reserves the right to place individual members on moderation if necessary, and ban those who abuse the list. Since we are all assumed to be adults here, it should not be necessary to spell out each and every detail of what is expected of list parcipants. Profanity, pornographic solicitations or material, unsolicited spam unrelated to the professional audio/video/broadcast/theater trades, and off-topic chatter will result in persons being placed on moderation or ban from the list all together. On list activity that the moderator suspects is illegal or finds abusive will be reported to the poster's ISP and local law enforcement agencies if deemed necessary.

Parties advertising items for sale warrents that the item discription is accurate and complete.

Indemnification.

Parties enguaging in transactions initiated on pro-audio-swap@googlegroups.com hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Radiation Room, it's principles and staff, and it's business partners from any and all claims, demands, suits, judgments, awards, settlements, losses or other costs or damages, including attorneys' fees, arising directly or indirectly from transactions initiated on pro-audio-swap@googlegroups.com

Limitation of Liability.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RADIATION ROOM OR GOOGLE GROUPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, REGARDLESS OF THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SAME.
